3. a) With the help of circuit diagrams, differentiate the following arrangement of transformer connection:
i) Current transformer
ii) Potential transformer.
b) The auto-transformer used to step-up voltage from 200V to 2400V output is used to supply a load of 72KV at unit power factor.
i) Draw its circuit diagram
ii) Calculate its load current.
iii) Calculate the current input to the transformer. (NB: Neglect the losses in the transformer)
4. a) Using a clear diagram construct a circuit to fulfill the following conditions.
i) Two resistors should be connected in series while three resistor are in parallel.
ii) Three capacitor should be connected in series while one capacitor are in parallel.
b) Circuit connected resistors of 2Ω and 10Ω in series and 4Ω and 3Ω in parallel when supply voltage is 200V.
