1.      One hundred and twenty five form one students are going out for field work. If the school hires 65 seats buses.

a) How many such buses will be required to transport the students?

b) How many seats will remain unoccupied?

 

2.      A) A farmer sells 105bags of maize at TZs 19,500/= per bags. Calculate the total amount of money the farmer receives from sales.

b)  (i) Find the value of 6738 ÷46

   (ii) Express 0.75 decimal as fraction

 

3.      A) Express 2.8   as a normal fraction

b) Evaluate (9876-4321) ÷55-7X6+3

c) Simplify

 

4.      A radio is sold at Tsh40,500/= this price include 20% value added tax (V.A.T). Calculate the amount of V.A.T

b) An item is on sale at 30% discount. What is the discount if the original amount was Tsh6,750/=

 

 

5.      A) Given the following numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.  Identify all odd number and show them on a number line.

b) Re-arrange the following from the greatest to the smallest. 

c) Calculate the sum of G.C.F and L.C.M of 42, 45 and 50.
