1.     Attempt FIVE  questions as instructed in each Question

1.    1.  A) Construct a common internal tangent to two unequal circle given radius of both circles of Centre A and B. The radius of Centre A is 15mm and center B is 30mm and the distance between center A and B is 80mm.

b) Construct Tangent to a circle radius 20mm from a point outside the circle which is 35mm eastward away from the center of the circle.

 

2.    2.  A) The distance between two towns is 250km and is represented by a line of a length 50mm on a map, construct a scale to read 600km and indicate 530km on it.

b) What kind of scale mentioned below

a.     1:1

b.     10:1

c.      1:5

3.    3.  A) Construct a figure similar to another with side reduced in a given ratio of 5:3, the figure given QRS having QR as a bottom side of 30mmand QS as a height of 45mm.

b) Construct   a plane figure similar to a given figure ABC below different sides but with the same area

                 

4.     4. From the figure shown below draw the following in third angle projection.

                                    i.          Front view as shown by the arrow “F”.

                                  ii.          Top view as shown by the arrow “P”.

                                 iii.          Right view as shown by the arrow “L”

5.    A) What do you understand by the word Auxiliary view?
